For one whole year the Lord would come and take me up in the spirit and He would teach me things by imparting divine revelations into my spirit. He would talk to me about the timing and the seasons of my life, how long they would last, overlap, or give way to new seasons. One thing I had to learn was how to be comfortable with the timing of my seasons. So many visions were for my later years, locked inside me like the gears on a clock, as time would pass, the gears would turn, and the revelations would open. It’s been almost 30 years and the Holy Spirit is just releasing me to share some of the wonderful keys. What a benefit it is to know not only what season you are in, but the timing of that season. Are you at the entry point or in the place of gleaning? Having these answers can allow you to begin to maximize the fruitfulness of each season, even when they overlap in different areas of your life. I waited twenty-five years to enter one promised season of fulfillment on time. I had to discern when to move based on the keys He had placed within me, even when others did not understand my actions. I had to make time, my friend. In return, time gave me access to its cycles. Within the pages of this book, I will share with you the keys to Understanding the Seasons and the Times.
I started writing this book in the year 2000, that was over 17 years ago. For the longest, I could only write when I had grown in an area or made peace with my experience as it related to a certain principle. At one point, I thought it was finished and ready to publish – but God had other plans. Three times I lost it, once an old computer broke down, then a laptop blacked out permanently, finally, my hard drive was stolen. In discouragement, I gave up on rewriting it because it was simply too much for me. Then one day, just like the miracle that is my life, on a completely new computer, it appeared in the files. I rejoiced and stood once again in awe at the love and power of my God. Truly, my life and the story that came as a result of my experiences, just kept rising from the ashes. Some things are forbidden. Our love was one of those things that I often wondered about, but like the fruit in the garden – we took it anyway. I feel as though that was a hundred lives ago. Today, I spend my time in God’s Kingdom, training, teaching and encouraging leaders to develop Godly character. You should never allow a gift to carry you where character can’t keep you. I should not have survived my many encounters with the Wolf, but by the grace and mercies of God I live to tell the story and to serve my God. To all of you I only say, beware, there may be a Wolf at your door!
In the 1980’s while working for an attorney in Massachusetts I began doing mediation with christian business owners in disputes.
That was the beginning of what would be a lifetime of praying for business owners, leaders, employees and employers. The joy of discovering just how much our business success means to God was my motivation for putting this prayer journal together. Our heavenly Father want us to partner in prayer with him over the success of whatever we put our hands to do in providing for our family. With prayer we can excel in relationships as we work to grow our business. We can avoid setbacks and increase productivity by seeking Gods counsel and his input. Enjoy discovering God’s desire to prosper your hands while developing a discipline for prayer.
