Widows

In February 2016, WIDOWS was born out of faith. During that time, I experienced the loss of close associates who had lost their husbands, and I, too, had recently lost the father of my children. Amidst this period of grief, I received a divine calling to support widows. This initiative, Women Investing In Divine Works of Service, has since led to numerous service projects throughout Africa, all stemming from this divine mandate.

Our mission is to seek out and provide support to true widows, women, children, and kingdom projects that enable us to pool our resources and uplift those in need. Initially, we were just a small group of women, liberated to engage in meaningful acts of service for our Lord, ready to embark on whatever mission He had in store for us. Without losing heart or courage, we launched our very first project. We brought together friends, family, youth, and even other widows to honor Christ and ourselves. This marked the beginning of our journey to find ways to continue investing in acts of service collectively.

My personal journey led me to South Africa, where a diverse group of women have joined me in serving the kingdom. Many of us prefer to remain anonymous, but our collaborative efforts have reached far and wide, spreading hope, love, and a helping hand.

Kind Regards,

Navana Utuke
